At North Carolina A&T State University, students have begun preparing for the upcoming dreaded week of Final Examinations starting on May 5th and ending on the 9th. As Ashleigh Wilson reports, Final Exams are more than a series of tests, for it can heavily dictate whether a student passes or fails a course.

It was on Saturday, April 19--the eve of Easter--where children excitedly gathered at First Baptist Church of Vienna, VA, to participate in its annual Easter Extravaganza. As Ashleigh Wilson reports, the Easter festivities featured fun, food and fellowship open not only to FBCV members but also the community.

On April 11th and 12th, six journalism students from North Carolina A&T State University had the opportunity to attend a series of paneled discussions, hosted by the National Association of Black Journalists, centralized on Health Policy and Health Inequities in communities of color. As Ashleigh reports, A&T student journalists were taught how to effectively cover the effects of the Affordable Care Act on underserved communities.

It was a rainy morning on March 20th, at the Greensboro Coliseum, where The Volunteer Center of Greensboro celebrated its 20th birthday of the charity walk called “The Human Race.” As Ashleigh Wilson reports, two student organizations from North Carolina A&T State University were able to support such a large affair.

From March 19th to the 22nd, the Journalism and Mass Communication Department at North Carolina A&T State University hosted its annual NABJ Multimedia Short Course program that featured professional reporters, producers, and other renown journalists who focused on training students to become better journalists.  As Ashleigh Wilson reports, West Virginia University student Diane Jeanty shared how this intense workshop has given her a gimpse into the "real world" of being a journalist.

A&T hosted its annual "Multimedia Short Course" sponsored by the National Association of Black Journalists. As Ashleigh Wilson reports, students from prestigous universities travelled all the way to A&T to gain credible training on what it takes to be a successful multimedia journalist.

"A Different View" (Season 1, Ep. 1):

"A Different View" is a talk show engaging students in compelling subjects, featuring "Girl Talk" with Khadejah that is a women empowerment segment. Our goal is to discuss subjects that many students wouldn't normally discuss.

"A Different View" (Season 1, Ep. 3):

In the third episode of A Different View, we discuss if Affirmative Act is still needed today, a profile interview segment with "The Cotton Club", Khadejah's edition of "Girl Talk: With Guys," and Quinton and Alannah closeout the show by polling students and faculty in Williams Dining Hall (A&T cafe) by asking how the internet has an affect society and is this the number one way to receive news.

Welcome back to a new season of "A Different View!" Tune in as we celebrate Black History Month by "cherishing our legacy." Catch a profound interview segment with NC A&T English prodessor Mr. Alston, Khadejah's edition of "Girl Talk: Overcoming Adversity," and Quinton and Alannah will close out the show by asking student how they plan to spend their Valentine's Day!

Tune into another episode of "A Different View" as we discuss various relationship questions; an up-close and personal interview segment with NC A&T student Jordan Baker, who is known for his troubled past and now tries to live a positive life; Khadejah's edition of "Girl Talk" where she interviews Madison Gibbs who is Miss Black North Carolina 2015; and catch the cast of "A Different View" covering the Black 2 Hip-Hop Festival!

"A Different View" presents: "The HBCU Special. This episode is dedicated Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) which includes testimonies from several different students at various HBCUs.
